Ta Da!

I weighed in this morning for the first time in a month. I lost....

20.5 pounds!

I have worked so hard to see that number. I was so excited! I was really nervous about what the number would be. I cant wait until next month and see how much more my hard work has payed off. Each day is one step closer to being heathy! Thank you for all of the support! I hope you are all keeping up with your healthy habbits!

Weigh day is so close...

Hey everyone sorry I haven't been around for awhile. I have been working really hard! I have gotten up to 800 calories a day on the treadmill, plus weight training. I don't really have a big update to share right now, but I wanted to let everyone know that I get to weigh on Friday for the first time in a month! Lets hope all my hard work is paying off!

Look for my update Friday! Hope all of y'all are doing well! Any snacks or yummy foods to share?

Dear Treamill

Dear Treadmill, While I sincerely appreciate what you are trying to do for me, do you have to make me sweat so bad? I look so gross and then I have to get in my car with a sweaty butt. Also can't you pause a little longer? You don't even give me time to refill my water bottle before you erase everything I've done. However on a brighter side, you are making my hips and the rest of me look AWESOME! I love the fact that I can set you and you track if I need an incline to help me burn enough calories. I think I might be falling in love with you. I can honestly say I never thought that would happen. Anyway, I'm excited to see you tomorrow and I hope you kick my butt as usual. Just a few things that keep me going!

Hey everyone! I am still working really hard. I am walking enough to burn 500 calories a day which is about 4.5 miles plus some extras if its on the schedule. Still only drinking water and eating really well. Before I head to the gym I want to share some of my personal inspirations for my new healthy lifestyle.

FAMILY! This is my 2 1/2 year old niece Ariana and I want to be there forever for her and any siblings she may have! I love being a sister, daughter and sister-in-law and I want to be around and healthy for my family. Including my own children some day :)

FRIENDS! I want grow old with my friends and still be able to act like we are 20 when we are 60!

I have a goal to be fit enough to climb a rock wall. I don't have a specific time or amount of weight loss but I will know when the time is right.

Overall I just want to be healthy. I cant wait to hit the beach this summer, spend time with my family and friends and maybe help inspire you to stay on track and to share your inspirations. I hope you will :)

Day: oh I dont even know anymore :)

I wanted to bring you something a little different this time. Summer is just around the corner and my whole family and I love the water (beach, pool we dont care just give us some spf 50 and we are good lol). As you all may remember, I have a goal of 30lbs by May 1st, so I have decided that if I have met my goal by my friend Stacie's wedding on May 28th I will buy myself this gorgeous swim suit.

And now for a little bit of fun :)

This was my sister and I when I was about 7 and she was about 11 (I think, I could be wrong. Cat is on the left, I'm on the right).

Haha did anyone notice in both pictures Cat is in purple and I am in pink?

Day 20! Almost a month :)

Hey everyone! Sorry I have been gone for awhile. Things in my life have been alittle bit crazy but I have finally gotten things back into some sort of order. Got some fun things to share with you guys today. First I joined LA Fitness. They offer more than just an apartment gym so I decided it would be more beneficial. I have only gone there two days so far but I really like it. They even have free classes to join. I was considering yoga, boxing, and Latin Heat (like Zumba). I didnt weigh in on Friday. The guys working at the gym told me not to. It will only discourage me but to weigh in once a month. They did a personal assesment on me and I have 46% body fat (which is ungodly high, I should be between 18% and 25% as a woman). I have 180 pounds of muscle (which is awesome they said. Average women have about 90%). They set my goal at 110 pounds of weight loss and it should take about a year. So I'm ready! Now for something the rest of you may benefit from :) I found these awesome chips the other day in the store called Popchips. They are popped with heat and pressure not fried or baked. Day 13. Learning Curves!

I had decided early on Fridays would be my weigh in day. So last Friday I weighed myself to get an exact number. Yesterday I weighed myself again and.....

I LOST 4 POUNDS in a week!!!

I was so excited! I am now four pounds closer to my goal and feeling about 10x better already! I am still not drinking anything but water and its kind of interesting. I thought I would miss other drinks but I'm really ok with it (so far lol). I have been getting some great advice from lots of people and I would just like to take a moment to thank all of you! Every word helps! I appreciate the time and thought and please keep it coming! :)

Its kind of a stressful time in my life, I have a lot going on so I am having to work extra hard to stay on my eating plan. (I normally would turn to pizza for those of you wondering lol). But I have stuck with it. Thanks for all the love. Keep Reading!!
